It is natural for conflicts to arise in the course of life. Often these conflicts are of a nature where it is necessary to have an impartial third party resolve them. Simply put: After thoroughly listening to both parties and witnesses in a dispute or wrongdoing and examining all the evidence presented, a “final” decision is made by the arbitrator(s) on behalf of both parties. The arbitrators are selected based on occupation, age, training, education, mediation skill, life experience, command, presence, and ability to be patient and impartial. The arbitrators are not attorneys. They cannot give legal advice. They are individuals from everyday walks of life who have the gift of listening, understanding and who demonstrate sound decision making. Their decisions are based on many facets including fairness and what the arbitrator considers to be in the best interests of the individuals. |
